Amjad Dr. Zafar

Dr. Amjad Zafar is a Consultant Medical Oncologist and Assistant Professor of Oncology based in Lahore, Pakistan. He holds Fellowship in Medical Oncology, ESMO certification, and licensure from the Dubai Health Authority. He has training in bone marrow transplantation at the University of Leipzig, Germany, under Professor Dietger Niederweiser. Dr. Zafar holds appointments at Hameed Latif Hospital, Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute, and Allama Iqbal Medical College/Jinnah Hospital, Lahore. His clinical practice encompasses the management of solid tumours and haematological malignancies, with expertise in immunotherapy and targeted agents. He has served as co-investigator in international multicentre trials, including ALTTO, SafeHer, and PERUSE. His research output includes over 25 peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals. He is a member of ASCO, ESMO, and the Society of Medical Oncology Pakistan, and serves on multiple multidisciplinary tumour boards.
