Kerry Watts
Kerry Watts is a Senior Policy and Project Officer with the NSW Ministry of Health, Office for Health and Medical Research, and a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney. She is an ANZCAP-accredited consultant pharmacist with expertise in advanced therapeutics, precision medicine, regulatory affairs, and GMP. Kerry’s research and policy work focus on health system preparedness for emerging therapies, including pharmacogenomics, gene and cell therapies, and bacteriophage therapy. She works across government, academic, and clinical sectors to support the translation of innovative therapies into practice through workforce development, regulatory guidance, and implementation science.
