Kate Ioannou
Kate is a Project Lead at the Western and Central Melbourne Integrated Cancer Service (WCMICS), where she leads cancer service improvement initiatives and oversees the Equity portfolio. Holding a Master of Public Health and a clinical background in radiography, Kate brings expertise in health service redesign, quality improvement and implementation of the Victorian Optimal Care Pathways. She works closely with clinicians, consumers and health services to improve cancer care delivery and address inequities in cancer outcomes. Her professional interests include health equity, consumer partnership, implementation science and the delivery of person-centred, evidence-based cancer care.
