Catherine L White

Catherine White is a Prostate Cancer Nurse Consultant with a passion for improving the cancer experience through personalised, proactive and holistic care. Working in radiation oncology, Catherine leads nurse-led prostate cancer clinics focused on survivorship, PSA surveillance, education, early intervention and the management of treatment-related toxicities. A key focus of Catherine’s practice is addressing the often-overlooked impacts of prostate cancer treatment, including sexual dysfunction and sexual wellbeing. She is passionate about creating open, supportive conversations around these issues and ensuring patients receive timely education, assessment and appropriate interventions. With a strong interest in innovation and service improvement, Catherine has been instrumental in developing nurse-led models of care and integrating electronic patient-reported outcome measures (ePROMs) into prostate cancer surveillance. Her work aims to identify patient needs earlier, improve health literacy and quality of life, and optimise healthcare resources. Catherine is also passionate about professional education, collaboration and advocacy, regularly presenting her work at conferences and engaging with clinicians and the wider community to improve prostate cancer care.
