Alongside these remarkable achievements, the number of Australians diagnosed with cancer continues to rise, driven by population growth, ageing and exposure to modifiable risk factors.
This presentation will explore an extended concept of ‘human-centred cancer care’ and how this can help us think about prevention, equity, system design and the well-being of our workforce.
Cancer clinicians have a critical role to play as partners in prevention, champions of equity and leaders in creating health systems that are designed around the needs of communities and that support our health workforce to thrive.
